Press Release
Deutsche Bank protects its Corba Systems with
Xtradyne Technologie's Domain Boundary Controller
February 21, 2001
FRANKFURT/BERLIN - The Deutsche Bank has chosen Xtradyne
Technologies' Domain Boundary Controller to protect its I2CS Human
Resources System.
The system uses an advanced architecture based on Oracle's
Discoverer client and a Corba connection to the Server backend. The
Domain Boundary Controller is used in the system to prevent
unauthorized access, to provide a seamless interaction with the
existing firewall infrastructure and to provide encryption over
internal and external networks.
"Without Xtradyne we would have been much more restricted in our
choice of Technologies and in the way we deploy the system" said
Jörg Efinger of the Deutsche Bank. "As a global company our
system has to be available world wide, and we have the strictest of
security requirements."
"We are very pleased that we were invited to provide the Deutsche
Bank with such a key infrastructure component. The time schedules set
to deploy the System were very tight and the service levels required
are very high but we have an excellent team of engineers who really
rose to the occasion" said Tim Eckardt of Xtradyne.
