RMI Proxy for EJB/J2EE

The access on EJB servers over existing firewall installations, e.g., from the servlet engine on a Web server in the DMZ, poses a substantial security threat for the EJB server based business logic and data if attackers from outside gain control of the Web server host.

As a complete solution for the firewalling of the access to EJB servers behind the enterprise firewall, Xtradyne provides its Domain Boundary Controller products, which are security gateways that inspect, analyze, and control all traffic to the EJB server.

Xtradyne's solution is available in two flavors:
as an RMI proxy for IIOP based access to the EJB server, and
as an XML/SOAP firewall for RMI/SOAP based access to the EJB server.
